We’re in New Hampshire

17 April 2006 2 Comments

Hi guys, not much to report. We had a pretty quiet weekend, chilling out and doing some shopping.

We’ve done loads of shopping. Think we bought the USA’s entire supply of cds and designer clothing!! We went to Lake Winnipesaukee today. That is a really big lake with an even bigger name! We’ve had our fair share of dealings with plumbers too. Trust me, you don’t want the details… apologies to Kevin – who deserved to be tipped!! There is actually a plumber in our room right now!

We went to the cinema again, to see Failure to Launch. That was quite good – but a bit predictable. On the plane we saw Yours, Mine and Ours… so we’re quite up to date with all the latest film releases now.

All the places we’ve stayed have been really nice until last night. That was terrible! It had a smell of badness – especially in the corridors, and the place didn’t really serve any breakfast. There was also no internet, so we couldn’t keep in touch with you guys.

Loads of people recommended L.L. Bean to us, so we were really excited to go try out this fantastic shopping experience… much to our dismay it was a cross between a Regatta outlet and a tent shop. Im concerned as to why people would think we would be interested in this place. Do we look like outdoor girls or something? Anyway, going to L.L. Bean, we stumbled accross some fantastic designer shops, so now we look dead cool!! (Cos we didn’t before???)

Beth bought a book today which is hillarious, but mildly offensive!! I’m sure she’ll tell you about it.

So yeah, this book I bought is amazing. It’s in the car at the mo, but I can remember a couple of the nuggets of wisdom:

When life gives you lemons – use them to squirt lemon juice into the eyes of your enemies

You can’t have you cake and eat it – but you can have your cake and eat someone elses, and that’s better anyway

I am now going to live by this book. When I have the book handy I’ll share some more with you.

Gotta go now, we have to be up early tomorrow, we’re going to Boston. Bye!

Sounds like you’re having loads of fun girls. That lake must have been a sight. What a weird name! I dont doubt you’re all looking glim and glam now. There must be thousands upon thousands of designer shops.
Take care now, bye bye then
