Still in Vermont!

11 April 2006 3 Comments

Hello again. We don’t have any pictures to share with you all at the moment, we’ve not done very much today. We saw some more lakes and mountains, but after a while they get a bit samey.

We saw a Kingdom Hall today. Well actually we saw 2 but we had planned the second one cos we’re going to their meeting tonight and their memorial tomorrow (aren’t we good?). But so far this holiday we’ve seen 4 halls. One in Niagara, one in the Adirondacks and 2 here in Vermont.

We also ventured into New Hapshire today, we saw a covered bridge. It looked boring, but on the other side was this cool river with a little rocky beach. Me and Robyn climbed on the rocks all the way to the top of a huge waterfall. Well it wasn’t that big. I fell over as well :( It was a lot worse than when Robyn fell off the treadmill cos she landed on carpet but I could’ve landed on the bottom of a rocky lake and died.

What she’s not telling you, is that my carpet burns are still visible on my arms and I was dragged behind the conveyor belt. Were you Beth? Huh?

No I wasn’t. But my little finger is swollen. So there.

In final news, we had an amazing pool and hot-tub in our hotel last night. Robyn showed me how to swim like a mermaid.

    hi,
    Has anyone fallen yet today?
Robyn, are you going to take a photo of your transport and post it on the site, so we can all imagine you touring about?
Everyone thinks it was funny that you fell off the treadmill.
Don’t forget the marvellous ginger biscuits remedy if you still feel a bit off it.
Take care, and say hi to papa and mama C.
    Lots of love,
    mum

At the risk of asking a REALLY stupid question…

Is it cold out there? Just wondering because of all the hats etc
