DAVID
Hi, I’m David Congreave and this is my assistant Bethany Rudkin. Today Beth is going to teach you how to create musical scores that you can use as background music for your video.

Bethany, why don’t you show the viewers your latest masterpiece?

DAVID
Yeah, that’s just the Super Mario Brothers theme.

BETHANY
Yeah I wrote that.

DAVID
No you didn’t.

BETHANY
Ok no I didn’t.

DAVID
REM, Everybody Hurts.

Isn’t that just Twist and Shout?

BETHANY
No it’s La Bamba.

DAVID
Well either way you’re ripping someone off.

BETHANY
I have a confession. I didn’t write the music we’ve been using.

DAVID
You mean we’ve been ripping people off all this time?

BETHANY
No! It’s royalty-free music.

DAVID
Royalty-free? You’ve been buying royalty-free music out of your own money?

BETHANY
Not exactly… I used the business credit card.

DAVID
The business credit card? Royalty-free music isn’t cheap you know – you can pay like 10, 20 dollars per track.

BETHANY
Well it only costs me $2

DAVID
Really?

BETHANY
Yep.

DAVID
Ok – can you play me some.

That’s pretty good. And it really only costs $2?

BETHANY
Yep, just go to www.TheLucidGuys.com/twobucks

DAVID
Excellent. But hang on… you wrote The Lucid Guys theme tune yourself didn’t you.

BETHANY
Nope.

DAVID
Then who did.

BETHANY
Bono?

DAVID
Seriously?

BETHANY
Yep. He watches us every week.

DAVID
You’re winding me up.

BETHANY
Yeah, I wrote it really. I also wrote the Super Mario Theme tune.
